- Pootle
- Python based tool, along with Translate toolkit, makes good tool for PO based translations. Has facilities to manage projects & languages, even importing from other formats.

- PHP based tool, for PO translation, review work, accepting anonymous suggestions, voting for suggestions, improved automatic translation/suggestions.
- Rosetta
- Propriety tool used in Ubuntu launchpad for managing translations in Ubuntu & related projects.
- Kartouche
- Old PHP based tool for online translation with basic autotranslation.

- Managing translation team, who is doing what.
